As a counselor, I wholeheartedly believe that each person is on a journey to discover their ikigai – their unique sense of purpose and belonging in this world. In my counseling practice, I create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their unique paths to fulfillment. My approach is person-centered, strength-based, and always delivered with empathy and cultural sensitivity.

I was born in Tokyo and raised in the Chicagoland suburbs before moving to O’ahu in 2019. Being fluent in both Japanese and English allows me to connect with clients from various backgrounds, and my multicultural experiences have given me a deep appreciation for how our diverse identities shape our interactions with the world.

Understanding intersectionality, I recognize how different parts of ourselves influence our experiences and relationships. I am dedicated to helping clients discover their inner strengths to overcome challenges and achieve personal goals. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or seeking greater self-understanding, I am here to support and empower you.

Together, we can work towards finding your ikigai and creating a fulfilling, meaningful life. Your story is important, and I am here to listen, support, and guide you every step of the way.
